Blossoming.

Jon & I went on a double date with our good friends Nathan and Christina last night. I knew we were going to have fun, but I wasn’t expecting to have as much fun as I did. There is so much beauty tucked away in the Bay Area. Nathan introduced us to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. We had never been before. It was a nice moment and I finally feel that “it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmassss.”

We were also introduced to the most amazing view tucked away at the tippy-top of Berkeley. It’s called Grizzly Peaks. It would be a perfect place for these meteor showers we’ve been having. It was such a clear, crisp night. It was a perfect view. You could see all the way to Marin beautifully. He also introduced us to Indian Rock. A huge rock tucked away in between houses. Boulders and boulders. It was a cool experience. I am interested to find out the history behind it.

I’ve decided that life is just that much better with good music playing. We had a lot of down time driving to all these great places and the drives were just that much quicker with great tunes. I really enjoy instrumental music. You can create your own story.

While we were in San Francisco, we also saw an amazing view of the Golden Gate. It was at Fort Point. We were almost right under it. It was phenomenal.

On the drive home, I just felt perfect. Holding hands with my boy. Looking out onto the bay. The moon was bright. It was reflecting off the water perfectly like glass. I captured that moment in my brain. It was magical.

The night ended with me draining my brain cells into the good ol’ tube with a Haaugen Dauz ice cream and reflecting over the night. I should go on double dates more often. The holidays are finally here!
