I'm on a roll.
If I could breathe in life, I’d take it all. The stars, the trees, the oceans, the smells, the freefall. The visions, the dreams, the hopes, the feens. My beau, my family, my friends, my Harley bean. The Monday Blues, the Friday Perfection. The gays, the straights, the trannys and Obama’s Election. The rainy days come with me too along with the sun and I won’t forget about the...
Get Closer.
I strongly believe headphones were invented by an artsy person. Who else would invent them? I know when I wear headphones, I feel like the music is inside of me at times. It’s the closest to a live show you can get. Florence and the Machine sounds so much better in headphones.
Thank You to the Little Things.
Iphone, thank you for always being a means of distraction or cure for boredom or a gateway to any question I have whether it be directions to the nearest Krispy Kreme at 2 in the morning or why people are talking about Adam Lambert after the AMAs or what the weather is going to be like in New Zealand on Wednesday. Sparkly Vans, thank you for peaking out at me...
A New Path.
So earlier this evening, I was having a conversation with a friend of mine who let me know they’re really touched by my art. Middle School Puppy Love.
My sister’s face turned every shade of red you can imagine when I told her I found the picture she has tucked away in a folder of her holding hands with a boy. If it’s anything like my middle school lusts were, she’s having innocent popcorn love fun. It’s enjoyable to watch. I was once that age. It’s crazy to think about that that was me seven years ago… Getting...
Happy Holidays.
The holiday season is officially here. I work my first 6pm-11pm shift tonight for the year. Going to work at 6pm is so weird, especially since it’s daylight savings time and it’s dark at 5. I feel like it’s bedtime when I walk in.
Blossoming.
Jon & I went on a double date with our good friends Nathan and Christina last night. I knew we were going to have fun, but I wasn’t expecting to have as much fun as I did. There is so much beauty tucked away in the Bay Area. Nathan introduced us to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. We had never been before. It was a nice moment and I finally feel that “it’s beginning to...
